I come from the Netherlands, but I became a mother for the first time in Morocco, where I lived as an expat with my husband. Through his work, I had the opportunity to connect with many different cultures. As a volunteer, I was able to give back my experiences by working as a language coach in Eindhoven. While I feel at home in Brabant, I also feel deeply connected to many places around the world. At the core, as mothers, we are all the same, no matter where we come from.
